Gorontalo (21/5/2025) — Dalam upaya mendukung lahirnya Generasi Emas Indonesia 2045, Ikatan Adhyaksa Dharmakarini (IAD) Wilayah Gorontalo menggelar Seminar Parenting bertema “Pembentukan Karakter dan Penguatan Kompetensi Menjadi Pilar Penting Pendidikan untuk Generasi Emas”, yang berlangsung di Aula Kejaksaan Tinggi Provinsi Gorontalo.
Hadir sebagai narasumber utama, Ketua Pimpinan Wilayah Persaudaraan Muslimah (PW Salimah) Provinsi Gorontalo, DR Sitti Rachmi Masie, yang memberikan materi inspiratif mengenai strategi pengasuhan berbasis karakter dan kompetensi di era digital.
Dalam paparannya, Rachmi menegaskan bahwa pembentukan karakter bukan hanya menjadi tanggung jawab lembaga pendidikan, melainkan dimulai dari rumah.
“Orang tua adalah sekolah pertama dan utama bagi anak. Jika ingin generasi kita unggul dan mandiri, maka keluarga harus menjadi ruang pertama yang mendidik dengan cinta, nilai, dan keteladanan,” jelasnya.
Seminar yang berlangsung dari pukul 08.00 hingga 11.00 WITA ini diikuti secara antusias oleh para peserta. Mereka tidak hanya menyimak, tetapi juga aktif bertanya dan berdiskusi, terutama saat membedah berbagai kasus nyata terkait pola asuh, konflik dalam keluarga, dan tantangan digitalisasi dalam mendidik anak.
Sekretaris IAD Wilayah Gorontalo, dalam sambutannya mewakili Ketua IAD, menyampaikan harapan besar atas pelaksanaan kegiatan ini.
“Kami berharap melalui seminar parenting ini, para orang tua semakin menyadari pentingnya peran mereka dalam membentuk karakter dan masa depan anak-anak. Dengan bekal ilmu dan pemahaman yang diperoleh, semoga setiap keluarga dapat menjadi tempat tumbuh yang sehat, positif, dan mendukung anak-anak kita menjadi generasi emas yang cerdas, berakhlak, dan siap menghadapi tantangan zaman,” ucapnya.
Seminar ini menjadi wujud nyata sinergi antara organisasi perempuan, lembaga hukum, dan tokoh pendidikan dalam membekali para orang tua dengan pendekatan pengasuhan yang efektif dan kontekstual di tengah dinamika zaman.
