Pekanbaru (5/6) – Pelantikan pengurus PD Salimah Kota Pekanbaru periode 2023-2028 dan seminar parenting dengan tema “Mendesain Akhlak Anak Generasi Alpha” dilaksanakan pasa Ahad (04/06/2023). Acara yang bertempat di ruang bedah buku Perpustakaan Soeman HS, Provinsi Riau, berjalan dengan lancar dan penuh khidmat.
Acara dibuka oleh Kepala Dinas Pemberdayaan Perempuan, Perlindungan Anak dan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Kota Pekanbaru, Chairani, S.STP, M.Si.
Dalam sambutannya, Chairani menyatakan sangat mengapresiasi Ormas Salimah Kota Pekanbaru yang telah ikut menyukseskan program pemerintah khususnya dalam peningkatan kualitas hidup perempuan dan perlindungan anak serta pemberdayaan masyarakat.
“PR kita masih banyak. Masalah sosial seperti pelecehan, LGBT, dan lain sebagainya harus kita selesaikan bersama-sama. Semoga dengan adanya Salimah Kota Pekanbaru yang concern terhadap issue ini, bisa bekerja sama dengan pemerintah untuk meminimalisir problematika yang dihadapi oleh perempuan dan anak khususnya di Pekanbaru,” ujarnya.
Setelah resmi dibuka, acara dilanjutkan dengan
prosesi pelantikan pengurus PD Salimah Kota Pekanbaru periode 2023-2028. Pengurus yang dilantik langsung oleh ketua PD Salimah Kota Pekanbaru, Irtiahul Azmi, ST, ini akan menggerakkan roda organisasi selama lima tahun ke depan.
“Semoga kepengurusan ini solid dan mampu mengemban amanah dengan sebaik-baiknya,” ujar Tia.
Setelah pelantikan, acara dilanjutkan dengan seminar parenting bertema “Mendesain Akhlak Anak Generasi Alpha dengan menghadirkan Dr. Yudi Irwan, M.E. Sy sebagai narasumber.
Dalam pemaparannya, Dr Yudi yang juga akrab dipanggil Abi Yudi menjelaskan karakteristik khusus generasi alpha adalah mereka sejak lahir sudah hidup berdampingan dengan dunia digital. Bahkan sejak dalam kandungan generasi alpha sudah terkoneksi dengan gadget yang digunakan orangtua mereka.
Oleh karena itu, mendidik mereka harus disesuaikan dengan zamannya. Orang tua dan guru harus lebih meningkatkan kemampuan agar “nyambung” dengan anak anak generasi ini.
Semua peserta sangat antusias mengikuti seminar ini. Hal tersebut terlihat dengan banyaknya peserta yang bertanya di sesi diskusi.
“Bagaimanapun keteladanan orang tua adalah hal yang sangat penting dalam mendesain akhlak anak di lintas generasi. Anak akan melihat dan mencontoh orangtuanya. Maka, jadilah contoh teladan yang baik bagi anak kita. Semoga kita semua bisa mendampingi anak-anak kita menjadi pribadi yang sholeh dan mensholehkan,” pungkas Abi Yudi.
