Dalam rangka peringatan 1 Muharram 1445 Hijriyah, PD Salimah Aceh Tengah menyerahkan santunan kepada anak yatim piatu serta dhuafa di Panti Asuhan Muhammadiyah dan SDLB Kebayakan. Penyerahan santunan ini dilakukan pada Sabtu (29/7).
Ketua PD Salimah Aceh Tengah, Munawarah, mengatakan bahwa kegiatan ini merupakan salah satu aksi sosial dari Salimah kepada masyarakat.
“Kegiatan ini dilakukan serentak oleh Salimah di seluruh Indonesia. Untuk Aceh Tengah, kita berikan santunan kepada anak-anak binaan kita di Muhammadiyah dan SDLB,” ujarnya.
Ia juga berharap, kegiatan ini bisa membawa manfaat bagi masyarakat.
Santunan kepada anak yatim piatu dan duafa diserahkan langsung oleh Ketua PD Salimah Aceh Tengah, Munawarah, dan Pembina PD Salimah Aceh Tengah, Yuliana Barakah.
Selain kegiatan untuk masyarakat, peringatan Muharam juga dimeriahkan dengan agenda internal Salimah bertema Keluarga Samara.
“Kali ini kita laksanakan kelas berbenah khusus untuk para anggota Salimah,” jelas Muna.
Menurut Muna, kegiatan tersebut sengaja dipadu antara kegiatan eksternal dan internal agar program Salimah bisa berimbang antara penguatan anggota dengan kebermanfaatan untuk masyarakat.
“Semoga Salimah semakin banyak memberi kontribusi positif dan manfaat untuk masyarakat,” pungkas Muna.
