Pekanbaru (29/7) – Dalam rangka Gebyar Muharram 1445 H, PW Salimah Riau berbagi berkah dan menyantuni yatim dan duafa pada Sabtu (29/7).
Gerakan serentak se-Indonesia ini dilakukan dengan mengajak anak-anak berbelanja di Swalayan Hawaii Jalan Durian, Pekanbaru.
Acara diawali dengan pembacaan Al Quran, dilanjutkan sambutan dari ketua PW Salimah Riau, Nita Cahyaning.
Ia menyapa anak-anak yatim dan walinya. Nita juga memperkenalkan Salimah kepada peserta, bahwa organisasi ini adalah organisasi massa perempuan yang memiliki tagline “Salimah Peduli Perempuan, Anak dan Keluarga Indonesia” bergerak di bidang sosial, pendidikan, keagamaan dan juga kemasyarakatan.
Agenda santunan yang mengangkat tema “ Belanja Bersama Yatim” diikuti dengan gembira dan antusias. Sebanyak 20 anak yatim mendapat voucher belanja sesuai kebutuhan dan menghabiskan dana berbentuk voucher dalam waktu 30 menit.
Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberi rasa bahagia kepada anak-anak yatim.
Anak-anak terlihat sangat gembira dan bahagia dalam memilih barang kesukaan yang ingin dibelinya. Swalayan Hawaii juga memberikan bingkisan menarik untuk anak-anak.
Sesuai arahan Pimpinan Pusat Salimah, kegiatan ini juga dilaksanakan oleh Pimpinan Daerah Salimah di 12 titik lokasi yang tersebar seluruh kabupaten/kota se-Provinsi Riau.
PW Salimah Riau berharap, kegiatan ini menjadi sarana kebaikan menebar kemanfaatan untuk sesama juga bisa Istiqomah dalam memberikan manfaat seluas-luasnya kepada masyarakat.
