Bekasi (5/10) – Sebuah cita-cita bersama mewujudkan sekolah yang menjadi inspirasi dan wadah pendidikan berbasis rumah atau homeschooling didirikan oleh Salimah Kota Bekasi.
Setelah proses pematangan konsep dan kurikulum dilakukan oleh tim perumus Sekolah Perempuan Salimah (SPS), akhirnya peresmian dilakukan pada Kamis (5/10).
Peresmian dilakukan bersamaan dengan Kegiatan Maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW 1445 H di Masjid Jami’ Al Azhar Jakasampurna yang menghadirkan pembicara Neno Warisman.
SPS adalah sekolah khusus puteri berbasis homeschooling untuk mendidik dan mewujudkan generasi muslimah yang pintar dan mandiri di Kota Bekasi.
Tim perumus SPS terdiri atas pengurus Salimah Kota Bekasi, konsultan pendidikan (Drs. Waris Sutopo),dan founder rumah belajar Berkemas (Yayah Komariah) yang merupakan salah satu pionir pelaku homeschooling di Indonesia yang berlokasi di Ragunan Jakarta Selatan sejak tahun 2004.
Konsep homeschooling atau sekolah berbasis rumah atau keluarga lebih mengedepankan bersekolahpun bisa menyenangkan.
SPS saat ini berlokasi di Perumahan Surya Mandala Jl. Surya Permai 3 No 7 Jakamulya, Bekasi Selatan, Kota Bekasi.
Berikut harapan para tokoh untuk SPS Kota Bekasi.
“SPS mengembangkan potensi diri generasi muda secara holistik dan mendukung peningkatan kualitas hidup di masa mendatang, terutama bagi yang terhalang untuk mengakses pendidikan secara formal,” ungkap Prof. Dr Andy Adriansyah, M. Eng, Rektor Universitas Mercu Buana Jakarta.
“Mandat kesejarahan bangsa adalah mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa. Pendidikan adalah alat untuk membuat kecerdasan dan prubahan. Perubahan adalah hasil akhir dari seluruh pendidikan yang benar. Semoga Sekolah Perempuan Salimah menjadi salah satu agen perubahan untuk masa depan bangsa Indonesia,” pesan Dr. Bambang S Wibowo, CEO Trustco.
“Sekolah Perempuan Salimah menjadi salah satu solusi dalan turut serta mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa melalui program pengembangan potensi anak khususnya yang memiliki keterbatasan ekonomi agar memiliki ketrampilan diri untuk meraih kesuksesan di masa depan. Apresiasi buat Salimah Kota Bekasi,” hara Hj. Iin Nur Fatinah, A. Md, Anggota Legislatif dari Provinsi Jawa Barat.
Semoga langkah Salimah Kota Bekasi dalam mewujudkannya Sekolah Perempuan Salimah menjadi inspirasi terbentuknya Sekolah Salimah di seluruh Indonesia.
