PW Salimah Kalimantan Selatan melaksanakan GEMA Salimah yang merupakan salah satu program kerja Departemen Dakwah di bulan Ramadhan ini.
Gerakan Membaca Al Qur’an bersama Salimah dilaksanakan kamis 01/06/17 di rumah dinas Walikota Banjarmasin dan dihadiri oleh ibu Walikota Banjarmasin Siti Wasilah M.Si, Med.
Kegiatan ini dihadiri kurang lebih 125 orang yang terdiri dari Majelis Taklim di sekitar kediaman rumah dinas walikota Banjarmasin, Majelis Taklim dan Sister binaan Salimah, serta seluruh pengurus PW dan PD Salimah Banjarmasin.
Acara ini dimulai pagi hari diawali dengan tadarus Al-Qur’an dan dilanjutkan dengan kata sambutan oleh Ibu Walikota Banjarmasin. Dalam sambutannya Siti Wasilah menyampaikan hendaknya dengan puasa menjadikan kita lebih berkualitas dalam hidup dan kehidupan. Ternyata beberapa binatang juga berpuasa untuk meningkatkan kapasitas dirinya, sebagaimana ulat yang menkonsumsi dedaunan bermetamorfosa melalui puasa untuk kemudian menjadi kupu-kupu, lanjutnya.
Rangkaian acara tersebut dimeriahkan dengan pembagian doorprice untuk ibu-ibu yang berprestasi, dengan kategori yang paling banyak tadarus Al-Qur’annya.
Acara Gema Salimah diakhiri pukul 11.00 WITA. Seluruh peserta dan panitia berharap acara silaturrahim seperti ini menjadi agenda tahunan ditahun-tahun yang akan datang.
