Rangkaian acara diawali dengan penampilan nasyid shalawat oleh tim binaan Departemen Dakwah di bawah arahan Zakiah. Suasana pembukaan semakin haru dengan menyanyikan lagu kebangsaan Indonesia Raya dan Mars Salimah, dilanjutkan dengan lantunan Ayat Suci Al-Qur’an serta doa yang dipimpin oleh Edy Amin (ketua Ikadi).
Ketua PD Salimah Kepulauan Meranti periode sebelumnya, Nengsih Purnama Sari, dalam sambutannya menjelaskan bahwa meskipun masa jabatannya secara teknis berlangsung dua tahun, hal ini merupakan bagian dari kebijakan penyetaraan periode kepengurusan secara nasional.
“Penyetaraan ini dilakukan agar Musda dapat dilaksanakan serentak secara nasional setiap lima tahun sekali. Meski masa jabatan saya berakhir, perjuangan panjang Salimah tidak boleh berhenti. Saya berterima kasih kepada seluruh pengurus daerah dan cabang atas dedikasinya, karena program Salimah tidak akan berjalan tanpa kerja sama tim,” ujar Nengsih.
Dukungan juga datang dari Pimpinan Wilayah (PW) Salimah Riau yang diwakili oleh Ratna Kurniawati. Selain itu, Bupati Kepulauan Meranti yang diwakili oleh Asisten I Sekdakab, Tengku Arifin hadir untuk membuka acara secara resmi.
“Pemerintah memberikan apresiasi setinggi-tingginya atas terselenggaranya Musda ini. Salimah bukan sekadar organisasi, melainkan pergerakan yang menyentuh masyarakat. Kami berharap Salimah terus hadir dengan ide-ide kreatif, inovatif, dan terus bersinergi dengan pemerintah untuk mencetak generasi berakhlak mulia,” ungkap Tengku Arifin dalam sambutannya.
Sebagai bentuk kepedulian sosial, PD Salimah Kepulauan Meranti juga menyalurkan bantuan sembako serta santunan kepada anak yatim di sela-sela acara.
Puncak acara ditandai dengan pelantikan Zakiah sebagai Ketua PD Salimah Kepulauan Meranti periode 2025-2030. Prosesi pelantikan, pembacaan Surat Keputusan (SK), dan ikrar jabatan dipandu oleh perwakilan PW Salimah Riau, Nieke Susanti. Selanjutnya, Ketua terpilih langsung melantik jajaran pengurus PD Salimah yang baru.
Dalam Pidato Ketua terpilih Zakiah, menyampaikan Bahwa ini adalah amanah dakwah, beliau akan melanjutkan estafet kepemimpinan sebelumnya, bersama jajaran kepengurusannya.
“Salimah Kabupaten Kepulauan Meranti yang merupakan Ormas perempuan dibawah GOW InsyaAllah akan bersungguh- sungguh menjalankan program, visi misi untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup perempuan anak dan keluarga,” ujarnya.
Kegiatan ini ditutup dengan arahan strategis dari Ketua Dewan Pengawas Salimah Daerah (DPSD), Irma Suraya, yang menekankan pentingnya komitmen dalam menjalankan amanah organisasi lima tahun ke depan.
