Stunting menjadi isu nasional dan sudah seharusnya seluruh elemen masyarakat bergerak bersama untuk menanggulangi stunting. Persaudaraan Muslimah (Salimah) sebagai ormas yang peduli peningkatan kualitas hidup perempuan, anak dan keluarga Indonesia pun turut ambil bagian dalam upaya penyelesaian masalah stunting ini. Minggu, 11 Juni 2023 Pimpinan Wilayah Salimah Jawa Timur melaksanakan Rapat Koordinasi Triwulan II tahun 2023 secara online dalam rangka Monitoring dan Evaluasi dari 38 Pimpinan Daerah Salimah se-Jatim sekaligus koordinasi persiapan Hari Anak Nasional yang jatuh pada 23 Juli 2023. Dihadiri oleh Para Ketua PD dan Ketua Departemen Pendidikan dan Latihan, sebanyak 59 peserta mengikuti acara dimulai pagi hari jam 05.30 s.d 07.45.
Dalam arahannya, Ketua PW Salimah Jatim mengingatkan kembali pentingnya manajemen organisasi mulai tahap merencanakan sampai evaluasi sehingga setiap kegiatan Salimah dapat terukur dan tertelusur. Sedangkan untuk rencana kegiatan Hari Anak Nasional , Salimah akan melaksanakan beberapa program kegiatan yang bermanfaat untuk masyarakat diantaranya kegiatan edukasi dan santunan ke masyarakat yang membutuhkan.
Mengambil tema “Stunting di Jawa Timur”, Departemen Diklat Salimah Jatim akan melaksanakan kegiatan edukasi yang berkaitan dengan pencegahan stunting dan menjalin kerja sama dengan instansi pemerintah terkait. Sebagaimana yang dilakukan oleh PD Salimah Tulungagung yang mendapatkan penghargaan dari Pemkab Tulungagung atas kontribusi dan peran aktif dalam Upaya Percepatan Penurunan Stunting di Kabupaten Tulungagung.
PW Salimah Jatim akan terus melaksanakan kegiatan yang bermanfaat untuk masyarakat bersama 38 Pimpinan Daerah yang ada di Kota dan Kabupaten di Jawa Timur serta menjalin kerjasama dengan berbagai instansi untuk memberikan kontribusi terbaik bagi masyarakat.
