Persaudaraan Muslimah (Salimah) sebagai ormas perempuan dengan visi meningkatkan kualitas hidup perempuan, anak dan keluarga Indonesia memandang miris terhadap kasus asusila yang marak saat ini. Kejadian demi kejadian mengenaskan menimpa anak-anak dan perempuan sebagai korban. Seperti kasus di Bengkulu dan Tangerang. Mereka adalah bagian dari warga Negara sekaligus keluarga besar bangsa Indonesia. Menjadi hak mereka dan kewajiban dari Pemerintah untuk memberikan perlindungan, hak hidup dengan aman dan tenteram pada warga negaranya.
Negeri yang dikenal dengan semboyan ‘gemah ripah loh jinawi’ itu seakan tak lagi aman dan tenteram bagi penduduk negeri ini. Dengan rasa duka yang mendalam, PP Salimah mendorong dan mendukung upaya untuk mendesak pemerintah Republik Indonesia, agar segera merevisi KUHP mengenai keasusilaan, baik menyangkut perzinahan, perkosaan, pelecehan seksual serta penyimpangan seksual, guna menciptakan ketahanan keluarga Indonesia, menuju keutuhan Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia (NKRI).
Bagi PP Salimah, menjaga ketahanan keluarga merupakan bagian yang tak terpisahkan dari perjuangan terhadap NKRI. Karena keluarga merupakan komponen terkecil yang bersatu padu menjadi komponen besar NKRI.
Untuk itu, PP Salimah memberikan dukungan terhadap upaya yang dilakukan untuk menyokong ketahanan keluarga, seperti AILA (Aliansi cinta keluarga) dan yang lainnya untuk maju pada persidangan Mahkamah Konstitusi (MK) yang akan digelar pada hari Selasa, 26 Juli 2016 dan dalam kesempatan berikutnya, hingga terkabulnya permohonan atas nama masyarakat Indonesia.
Ini semua kami lakukan sebagai bagian dari kewajiban ormas yang ingin berpartisipasi dalam memperjuangkan hak warga Negara, mencintai warga Negara Indonesia dan para pahlawan bangsa yang mewariskan pembelaan negara kepada generasi Indonesia.
