Sidoarjo (13/8) – Muharram merupakan salah satu bulan haram di mana pahala amalan dilipatgandakan. Pimpinan Wilayah Persaudaraan Muslimah Jawa Timur memaksimalkan kesempatan ini dengan melaksanakan kegiatan Santunan Yatim dan Dhuafa serta Kunjungan ke Tenda Pendidikan Bencana (Tenpina) BPBD Jatim di Kabupaten Sidoarjo.
Acara yang diselenggarakan pada Ahad (13/8) ini diikuti oleh kurang lebih 30 anak yatim dan dhuafa dari beberapa daerah di Surabaya.
“Kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari program Salimah di bulan Muharram. Kita mengajak anak-anak untuk menambah wawasan tentang bencana dan tindakan apa saja yang harus dilakukan karena bencana dapat terjadi kapan saja.” Demikian Ketua Departemen Dakwah PW Salimah Jatim, Lailus Sofatul Layyin menyampaikan dalam sambutannya.
Dokter spesialis mata yang akrab disapa Layyin tersebut berharap kunjungan ke Tenpina BPBD Jatim dapat menjadi penyegaran tersendiri untuk anak-anak yang mengikuti acara ini.
Dadang Iqwandy, Analis Kebencanaan Ahli Muda BPBD Jatim mengatakan bahwa BPBD Jatim sangat terbuka menerima kunjungan dari manapun dan tidak memungut biaya.
“Tenda Pendidikan Bencana ini menjadi Top 99 Inovasi di Indonesia dan kami sangat senang hari ini adik-adik berkunjung ke sini. Selain Tenpina, ada pula Mobil Edukasi Penanggulangan Bencana yang telah berkeliling ke sekolah-sekolah. Silakan memanfaatkan fasilitas kami untuk belajar dan menambah pengetahuan mengenai bencana,” tambahnya.
Edukasi mengenai tindakan ketika gempa disampaikan oleh staf BPBD Jatim, M. Agus Dewantoro. Ada empat hal yang harus dilakukan jika terjadi gempa, yaitu melindungi kepala, mencari tempat berlindung di bawah meja atau kursi, menjauhi kaca, dan berlari ke lapangan terbuka. Semua ini disampaikan kak Agus dalam bentuk nyanyian yang memudahkan anak-anak untuk menghafalnya.
Kegiatan dilanjutkan dengan memasuki Tenpina. Diar Azmi Arsyad Zulkarnain, Staf BPBD Jatim mengajak anak-anak belajar mengenal berbagai bencana alam yang pernah terjadi di Indonesia. Kak Diar juga menjelaskan beberapa jenis peralatan yang harus disiapkan untuk mengantisipasi bencana, misalnya tas siaga bencana. Selain itu juga diadakan simulasi gempa untuk mempraktekkan ilmu yang sudah diperoleh.
Anak-anak terlihat antusias dan asyik mengikuti berjalannya kegiatan. Pengetahuan yang didapat pun sangat bermanfaat. Aneka games dan kuis berhadiah semakin membuat mereka senang. Acara diakhiri dengan pemberian bantuan dari BPBD Jatim serta santunan kepada anak yatim dan dhuafa. PW Salimah Jatim menyampaikan rasa terima kasih yang sebesar-besarnya kepada semua pihak yang telah mendukung kegiatan ini.
