Banjarmasin (29/7) – PW Salimah Kalimantan Selatan menyerahkan santunan kepada anak yatim dan duafa di Panti Asuhan Mu’awanah. Penyerahan dilakukan di panti yang berlokasi di Jalan Pangeran, Kelurahan Pangeran dan Panti Asuhan Al Muhajirin di Jalan Simpang Gusti, Kelurahan Alalak Utara, Kecamatan Banjarmasin Utara, Kota Banjarmasin pada Sabtu (29/7).
Penyerahan santunan kepada anak yatim dan duafa ini merupakan salah satu kegiatan nasional Salimah dalam rangka menggemakan syiar Muharam yang mengangkat tema “Tahun Baru 1445 H Semangat Baru Tingkatkan Iman, Jalin Persaudaraan, Peduli pada Sesama”.
Penyerahan santunan dilakukan oleh Ketua Departemen Dakwah, Nur Azizah yang didampingi oleh sejumlah pengurus lainnya, seperti Heriyani, Retno Lestari dan Betty Juhairiah.
Menurut Nur, kegiatan ini dilakukan secara serentak oleh Salimah di seluruh Indonesia dengan bentuk santunan tidak ditentukan atau dapat disesuaikan dengan kondisi dan kreativitas pengurus wilayah dan daerah masing-masing.
“Kalau Salimah Kalsel, santunannya berupa bingkisan yang terdiri atas uang tunai, buku tulis, nasi kotak, serta baju layak pakai. Teman-teman Salimah di daerah lain di Kalsel beda lagi bentuk santunannya. Pengurus Daerah Salimah Kabupaten Banjar dan Hulu Sungai Selatan, misalnya, santunannya berupa uang tunai saja. Sedangkan PD Salimah Banjarbaru dan PC Salimah Banjarbaru berupa uang tunai, ditambah susu dan makanan. Kalau PD Salimah Balangan satunannya berupa kain/seragam sekolah. Di luar Kalsel juga bermacam-macam lagi bentuknya. Apapun bentuknya, mudah-mudahan berkah, bermanfaat bagi anak-anak yang menerimanya,” harap Nur.
Di Pantri Asuhan Mu’awanah, santunan diterima oleh 20 orang anak sekitar pukul 14.00 hingga 14.30 wita; sedangkan di Panti Asuhan Al Muhajirin, santunan diterima oleh 28 orang anak sekitar pukul 14.45-15.15 Wita.
Santunan yang bersumber dari sejumlah donatur dan diserahkan secara simbolis kepada perwakilan anak-anak dari kedua panti asuhan ini berjalan dengan lancar dan penuh suka cita.
