Nganjuk (9/7/2023) – PD Salimah Nganjuk turut serta dalam kegiatan yang diadakan oleh PW Salimah Jawa Tmur dalam kegiatan dengan tema “Gerakan Nasional Lansia Berdaya Bersama SALIMAH”. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh para lansia di desa Kapas, Kecamatan Sukomoro, Kabupaten Nganjuk.
Kegiatan tersebut diawali dengan senam kebugaran jasmani, pemeriksaan kesehatan, pemberian nutrisi, dan penyuluhan kesehatan.
Senam kebugaran yang dipimpin oleh Ibu Rika dan Ibu Helen menjadi semangat sendiri bagi peserta lansia. Setelah senam diikuti dengan pemeriksaan kesehatan berupa cek tensi dan berat badan.
Penyuluhan diberikan oleh Ibu Sri Sukarmi selaku bidan yang biasa memberikan penyuluhan kesehatan kepada masyarakat. Ia mengimbau agar semua pihak selalu bersyukur atas segala nikmat yang telah diberikan berupa nikmat iman, ikhsan, islam, sehat, dan keluarga harmonis.
“Penting bagi para lansia untuk mengatur pola hidup, pola makan, dan pola pikir. Hal tersebut dikarenakan pada usia lansia yaitu 60 tahun ke atas, banyak hal yang berkurang seperti alat indera yang makin tidak berfungsi dengan baik, otot-otot yang sudah tidak seperti dulu lagi dan sebagainya,” ujar ibu Sri Sukarmi.
Ia menambahkan perihal slogan “isi piringku” yang mengandung arti dalam satu piring 1/3 nasi, 1/3 lauk, dan 1/3 sayut dan buah. Namun untuk para lansia, porsi nasi dikurangi lagi untuk mengatur kadar gula dan kolesterol dalam darah.
Pemberian nutrisi berupa kotak nasi dan air putih menjadi akhir acara kegiatan tersebut.
Peserta berharap agar kegiatan senam sehat ini bisa diadakan setiap minggu.
“Semoga acara senam sehat diadakan setiap minggu,” kata ibu Tinuk selaku peserta kegiatan.
