Bontang (29/7) – PD Salimah Kota Bontang menggelar peluncuran Sekolah Lansia Salimah (Salsa) pada Sabtu (29/07). Acara yang diselenggarakan di Kelurahan Bontang Baru, Kota Bontang diikuti oleh 35 pra lansia dan lansia .
Acara diawali dengan senam lansia, penyampaian materi seputar kesehatan, pemeriksaan kesehatan, dan pemberian bingkisan untuk lansia.
Ketua PD Salimah Bontang, Mutmainah, mengatakan bahwa Salsa merupakan salah satu program unggulan Salimah. Melalui kurikulum yang telah disusun oleh Salimah Pusat, Salsa akan terus diberdayakan agar para lansia mendapatkan kebahagiaan dan kesejahteraan.
“Dengan mengucapkan bismillahmanirahim, program Salsa secara resmi kita mulai,” ucapnya.
Selain peluncuran Salsa, PD Salimah Bontang juga membagikan santunan kepada 20 anak yatim sebagai rangkaian gerakan serentak nasional santunan kepada anak yatim di bulan Muharram 1445 Hijriyah.
