Manado (16//3/2025) – Bertepatan dengan 16 Ramadhan 1446 H, PW Salimah Sulawesi Utara mengadakan kegiatan santunan anak yatim dan dhuafa sekaligus peresmian Sekolah Lansia Salimah (Salsa) yang bertempat di PAUD Amalia, Kota Manado. Acara dibuka dengan Khotmil Qur’an oleh para ibu lansia binaan Salimah di Kelurahan Mahawu, Kecamatan Tuminting, Kota Manado. Para undangan yang hadir turut serta dalam menyimak dan mengkhatamkan bacaan Al-Qur’an bersama-sama.
Ketua PW Salimah Sulawesi Utara, Sulastri Masloman, dalam sambutannya menyampaikan bahwa Program Pembinaan Anak Yatim dan Dhuafa (P2AYD) sudah rutin dilaksanakan di berbagai hari besar Islam dan di bulan Ramadhan kali ini pemberian Santunan Anak Yatim berkolaborasi dengan YBM BRILiaN.
“Kami ucapkan terimakasih sebesar-besarnya kepada para donatur yang telah berbagi dan berpartisipasi mendukung kegiatan ini,” ujar Sulastri.
PW Salimah Sulawesi Utara juga turut meresmikan Salsa sebagai upaya pembinaan para lansia khususnya dalam pembelajaran Al-Qur’an.
“Harapannya di momen bulan suci ini dan bertepatan dengan 17 Ramadhan, kita dapat terus meningkatkan semangat dalam membaca dan mempelajari Al-Qur’an,” imbuhnya.
Santunan anak yatim dan dhuafa diberikan kepada 20 orang anak binaan Salimah yang berasal dari kecamatan dan kabupaten/kota yang beragam. Santunan yang diberikan berupa paket keperluan sekolah dan uang tunai untuk keperluan anak yatim dan dhuafa. Selain anak yatim, para ibu lansia binaan Salsa juga mendapatkan paket sembako.
Setelah agenda inti dilaksanakan, para undangan melakukan zikir bersama jelang berbuka puasa yang dipimpin oleh Imam Masjid Al-Munawwarah Kota Manado, H. Iksan Wuisan. Acara ditutup dengan berbuka puasa bersama dan sholat maghrib berjamaah.
