Ketua PD Salimah Kabupaten Kepulauan Meranti, Zakiah, dalam tausiyahnya menyampaikan bahwa Tarhib Ramadan menjadi momentum penting bagi anak-anak untuk memahami makna puasa yang sesungguhnya.
Ia mengatakan bahwa Ramadan bukan sekadar menahan lapar dan haus, melainkan latihan untuk menjadi pribadi yang lebih baik. Anak-anak diajak belajar sabar, jujur, berkata baik, serta semakin dekat dengan Al-Qur’an. Selain itu, puasa juga harus menjaga seluruh anggota tubuh — mata dari melihat yang tidak baik, telinga dari mendengar yang buruk, dan lisan dari berkata kasar.
Anak-anak diharapkan mengisi Ramadan dengan mengaji, shalat tepat waktu, membantu orang tua, serta memperbanyak doa. Ramadan juga menjadi kesempatan untuk berubah: dari malas menjadi rajin, dari bertengkar menjadi saling memaafkan, dan dari menunda shalat menjadi tepat waktu.
Zakiah berharap anak-anak yang memuliakan Ramadan akan dimuliakan Allah dan tumbuh menjadi generasi Qur’ani yang membanggakan orang tua, agama, dan masyarakat.
Sementara itu, Ketua RT 03 Kelurahan Selatpanjang Timur, Rahminita, turut memberikan motivasi kepada anak-anak agar menyambut Ramadan dengan hati gembira, rajin beribadah, rajin mengaji, serta tetap ceria walau sedang berpuasa. Ia berharap puasa tahun ini menjadikan anak-anak lebih sabar dan lebih taat kepada Allah.
