Depok (2/9) – Dalam rangka memeriahkan hari kemerdekaan RI ke-78, Pimpinan Daerah Persaudaraan Muslimah (PD Salimah) Kota Depok menggelar Salimah Expo di Depok Mall pada Sabtu dan Ahad (2-3 September 2023).
Expo yang baru pertama kali digelar ini menyapa masyarakat Depok dengan berbagai acara yang asyik dan menarik.
Ketua PD Salimah Kota Depok, Nur Komariyah, S. Sos.I, mengatakan jika acara ini merupakan ajang unjuk karya dan potensi diri para perempuan warga Depok.
“Salimah Expo merupakan rangkaian kegiatan dalam rangka HUT RI ke-78 dan juga ajang unjuk diri para perempuan warga Depok,” katanya.
Nur menambahkan, ada berbagai kegiatan yang digelar untuk warga Kota Depok.
“Ada lomba, talk show, pameran, dll. Kami juga memberikan penghargaan Salimah Award kepada tiga orang yang terpilih sebagai pengusaha sukses, pendidik handal dan tokoh agama yang mulia dan sebagai panutan,” tambah Nur.
Acara yang digelar selama dua hari ini juga menghadirkan beberapa tokoh nasional. Di antaranya, Hilmi Firdausi, Firtra Ratory, dan Dian Nurfarida.
Walikota Depok, Muhammad Idris, menyampaikan dukungannya terhadap kegiatan ini.
“Salimah sebagai ormas muslimah terbukti berkontribusi dalam pemberdayaan perempuan dan mengentaskan masalah stunting di Depok,” ujarnya.
Lebih lanjut, Idris menambahkan, apa yang dilakukan Salimah sejalan dengan program Kota Depok menuju kota religius.
“Partisipasi Salimah dalam pemberdayaan perempuan dan menjaga nilai agama sejalan dengan rancangan Depok sebagai kota religius,” lanjutnya.
Sementara itu, Ketua Umum Salimah, Ir. Etty Praktiknyowati, mengatakan bahwa Salimah Expo merupakan wujud peran Salimah dalam mendukung perekonomian.
“Acara ini merupakan perwujudan Salimah dalam meningkatkan kualitas hidup perempuan dan anak, terutama dalam perekonomian,” ujar Etty.
Meskipun demikian, Etty melanjutkan, bukan berarti perempuan menjadi ujung tombak atau tulang punggung keluarga.
“Akan tetapi, perempuan punya potensi dan kontribusi agar keluarga Indonesia bisa meningkat kesejahteraannya,” terangnya.
Berbagai acara digelar dalam kegiatan Salimah Expo 2023. Antara lain, Ngobrol Bareng Salimah, Bincang Perempuan Pengusaha, Talk show untuk Gen Z, dan Workshop Video Kreatif.
Ada pula berbagai lomba yang dapat diikuti oleh umum, yaitu Lomba Kreasi Makanan Ungu, Lomba Lagu Perjuangan, Lomba Video Kreatif, dan Lomba Marawis. Tak ketinggalan ada Lomba Mewarnai untuk ananda tercinta.
Dalam kegiatan ini, PD Salimah Depok juga menggelar Wisuda Sekolah Lansia 2023 yang berjumlah 2.000 lansia. Para lansia tersebut telah mengikuti pelatihan selama 6 bulan yang diselenggarakan oleh Salimah.
Para pengunjung D’Mall juga dimanjakan dengan bazaar UMKM dengan aneka kuliner serta produk khas Salimah. Booth tersebut merupakan bentuk dukungan kepada pelaku UMKM Kota Depok.
