Yogyakarta (24/9) – Wisuda Sekolah Lansia Salimah (Salsa) Kota Yogyakarta Angkatan 1 dibuka oleh Asisten Pemerintah dan Kesra Kota Yogyakarta, Drs. Yunianto Dwi Sutono. Wisuda dilaksanakan pada Ahad (24/9) di Gedung Graha Pandawa Komplek Balaikota Timoho, Yogyakarta.
Kegiatan tersebut dihadiri oleh 132 wisudawan/wati dari peserta didik yang berjumlah 185 siswa. Para wisudawan/wati berasal dari empat sekolah lansia, yaitu At Tin (Pakualaman) 20 siswa, An Naml (Umbulharjo) 63 siswa, Nurul Hijrah (Kotagede) 21 siswa, dan Nurrohmah (Kotagede) 27 siswa.
Dalam sambutannya, Yunianto memberikan apresiasi kepada empat wisudawati dengan predikat cumlaude. Penghargaan ini diberikan kepada para siswa dengan usia tertua 88 tahun.
“Meski telah memasuki usia tak lagi muda, mereka tetap termotivasi dan bersemangat untuk terus belajar,” pujinya.
Momentum wisuda ini merupakan bentuk apresiasi kepada para lansia yang bersemangat menjadi sosok pembelajar sepanjang hayat. Mereka telah mengikuti pembelajaran sesuai dengan kurikulum dan ketentuan yang berlaku.
Wisuda ini merupakan titik tolak untuk menjadi insan mandiri dan produktif, semangat berkarya, dan menjadi motivator bagi lansia lainnya.
Acara dihadiri oleh jajaran Dinas terkait di lingkungan Kota Yogyakarta, seperti Bagian Kesra Setda Kota Yogyakarta, DP3AP2KB, Dinas Sosial, Bakesbang, Kemenag Kota Yogyakarta. Selain itu, hadir pula 19 Organisasi Massa Perempuan yang ada di Kota Yogyakarta, di antaranya Gabungan Organisasi Wanita (GOW) Kota Yogyakarta.
Ketua PW Salimah DIY, Tri Winarsih, SP, menyampaikan bahwas Yogyakarta telah memprakarsai wisuda pertama.
“Kemudian dijadikan program nasional. Hal ini diharapkan dapat diikuti oleh Salsa lainnya di seluruh daerah di Indonesia,” ujarnya.
Salsa merupakan salah satu program Salimah, dimana Salimah menjadi wadah para muslimah dengan berbagai potensi untuk berkontribusi dan turut memberi solusi bagi permasalahan perempuan, anak, dan keluarga.
Direktur Salsa Provinsi DIY, drg. Prasasti Bintarum, memberikan motivasi kepada para wisudawan/wati agar menjadi lansia yang smart, sehat, dan mandiri.
Salah satu wisudawan terbaik, yaitu Hj Kemirah, mengungkapkan kebahagiaannya karena telah menjadi bagian dari siswa Salsa di usia yang ke-78 tahun. Ia sangat berterimakasih karena mendapatkan banyak manfaat dari sekolah lansia yang diikutinya.
